Ōsanbashi Pier is the main international pier at the Port of Yokohama, located in Naka Ward, Yokohama, Japan. Ōsanbashi is the oldest pier in Yokohama, originally constructed between 1889 and 1896.

To meet modern demands, Ōsanbashi was reconstructed between 1987 and 2002. The newly reconstructed passenger terminal is named the Yokohama International Passenger Terminal, designed by Foreign Office Architects. It can accommodate up to four 30,000-ton class ships or two 70,000-ton class ships at the same time. The departure/arrival lobby, ticketing booth, customs, immigration, shops and cafe are all on the 2nd floor of this terminal. There is limited parking on the 1st floor, and an observation deck open to the public, on the rooftop.

Kinda caught the Great Buddha "Daibutsu" a bit late in the day, but it was awe-inspiring nonetheless. Seriously, go to Kamakura, its something else.

Amazing, amazing vid! I was at Kamakura last year where my mom and I visited the Great Buddha, eating some ice cream from the vendo machines along the way. It was a great experience. I remember standing right infront of the Buddha and felt, for the first time, being connected with the earth.

This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.

The main tank called the 'Kuroshio Sea' holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.
