Morocco part 2 - Meknes, the Medina

Meknes, the Medina; Morocco
Join Cara, John and their daughter Abi as they visit one of the most fascinating medinas in North Africa is found in the agricultural heartland of Morroco only 60 kms from Fez. This city was transformed from a provincial town to an imperial city virtually overnight by one of Moroccos most tyrannical rulers. The medina offers an array of architectural gems, bustling markets and a proud and industrious people who continue to ply their ancient trade handed down from their fore fathers. The Damascenerie produced here is some of the most unique art found in Morocco. All of this is found in a laid back and friendly town.
