Crocodile Park in Djerba 

Home to hundreds of Nile River crocodiles that at full growth can be 6 metres in length! The sight of these humongous creatures, some with their jaws open, sunning themselves in placid pools and the tropical glasshouse will send a shiver down your spine. Known as a "man-eater", the creatures have been hated, revered especially in ancient Egypt where crocodiles were mummified, and even worshipped.
